Spring is an amazing time in the amphibian world! Vernal pools are special, ephemeral bodies of water where frogs, salamanders, and insects breed. We'll learn about these incredible, small creatures and get up close to their pools. This walk will explore the vernal pools of the Rockland Bog from the Route 90 trailhead. Participants should be prepared to hike up to 2 miles out-and-back.
This event is free and open to all ages. Please register at georgesriver.org/events.
