Bill Brobst, Bloomsburg, will present a program on “Vernacular Architecture” on Sunday, May 17, at 2 p.m. Brobst, who holds a graduate degree as an urban planner and is an instructor on historical architecture with the Bucknell Institute for Lifelong Learning. The slide and lecture program will focus on area architecture that we may pass every day without realizing its historical significance.This presentation is free to the public and will take place at the Albright Center for the Arts (corner of Chestnut and Fifth Streets in Sunbury). Ample street parking is available as well as three city parking lots within two blocks. Consider allowing extra time to find a parking space.
