The Shenandoah Valley is one of the most prominent American Viticultural Areas in Virginia. Because it is driven widely by grape growers and farmers, these grapes often end up in blends made by wineries in Monticello, Charlottesville, and Northern Virginia. But there is a reason these grapes are so sought after by the winemakers to the south! Let's look closer at the region and taste wines made entirely of grapes grown in the Shenandoah Valley to see what this rugged region has to offer!
