Join Hattie in the jewelry studio and make a beautiful pair of verdigris copper ginkgo earrings, Hattie’s own design that she sells at Longwood Gardens and Terrain. Students will use a jeweler’s saw to cut out their ginkgo leaf, hammer texture ripples into the copper, heat and shape each leaf, polish and apply the patina. After your leaves are polished for shine, Hattie will teach you how to make custom ear hooks from 14k yellow gold fill wire.
A workshop that truly gives you a lesson in Beginner metalsmithing with excellent results. No experience is necessary.
