After a superb Scooter Rally gig at the Ship & Atlantic last year, Spam were quickly booked to return.Sadly a last minute foot injury for their guitarist has meant they have had to pull out of their current booked gigs.
But coming off the bench to replace them are hugely popular Nottingham band Verbal Warning, who include Spam's John as lead vocalist and promise a guest spot from Spam's very own Pam during the afternoon.
Verbal Warning's first gig was way back in 1980.
They have had various line-ups and a lengthy spell out of action since those early days but still provide a fantastic show in 2026 with a great mix of fun songs and more serious ones too from their three acclaimed albums as well as a host of classic covers, mixing punk, new wave and ska and some daft covers.
They also have a brand new EP out ahead of a fourth album next year.
Highlight of the show is the 'flying punk rock ducks' moment!
VW have played all over the country at a variety of venues and festivals including Rebellion, Bearded Theory, Concrete Jungle and Strummercamp.
Their gig diary is as packed as ever going into next year and a fantastic afternoon's entertainment is guaranteed.
