About this Event
The San Antonio Cerveceros, in collaboration with Künstler Brewing, would like to invite you to participate in the 5th annual Verano Brau Homebrew competition. The winner will get to brew their recipe on Künstler's Pro System. A portion of the proceeds from this beer will be donated to the Shriner Hospital Transportation Fund. Entries are limited to the first 20, so register early! This year's beer style is BJCP (7B) Altbier.
Rules
- COMPETITION IS OPEN TO ALL HOMEBREWERS (NOT JUST CERVECEROS)
- ONE ENTRY PER PERSON
- FIRST 20 PAID ENTRIES ONLY, SO REGISTER EARLY!
- DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS OCTOBER 19TH (NO EXCEPTIONS)
- $10 REGISTRATION FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE.
- STYLE DEFINED AS PER BJCP 2021 STYLES GUIDELINE - 7B Altbier
- SUBMIT 3 (12 OZ) BOTTLES
- CAPS MAY ONLY BE SOLID COLORED (ALL 3 BOTTLES MUST HAVE THE SAME COLOR CAP)
- NO OTHER IDENTIFYING MARKS MAY BE ADDED TO THE BOTTLES
- ENTRIES MUST BE SUBMITTED TO KÜNSTLER BREWERY IN PERSON DURING BUSINESS HOURS ON 10-21-25 OR 10-22-25. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- THE WINNER MUST COME TO KUNSTLER BREWING TO BREW THE BEER.
Labeling

- Type in your information in the fields prior to printing. Afix each of the 3 labels with a rubber band to each entry.
- Incomplete or illegible labels will be disqualified. No exceptions.
Dropping Off Entries
- ENTRIES MUST BE SUBMITTED TO KÜNSTLER BREWERY IN PERSON DURING BUSINESS HOURS ON 10-21-25 OR 10-22-25.
-NO MAIL DELIVERY (SINCE THE BREWER MUST BREW THE BEER ON PREMISES)

JUDGING WILL BE OCTOBER 23 AT KÜNSTLER. KÜNSTLER'S STAMMTISCH MEMBERS WILL JUDGE THE BEERS.
CONTESTANT ARE NOT ALLOWED IN JUDGING CHAMBERS DURING JUDGING.
ENTRANTS WILL NOT RECEIVE BJCP SCORESHEETS FOR THEIR ENTRIES. THIS IS NOT A BJCP SANCTIONED EVENT.
WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED OCTOBER 23 WHEN JUDGING IS COMPLETE, ABOUT 8PM
