We are having one more SwimRun before James Ismailoglu's Retirement party. This one starts and ends in Ventura Cove. Participants will have a long and a short course to choose from. As usual, you swim with your running gear, and run with your swim gear, no transitions!
I have attached photos of the courses, along with strava routes. I will also try and mark the swims in a similar way to Costie's Labor Day weekend SwimRun.
Course talk at 6:50, please arrive by 6:40 to sign in!
****This is an open course, If you are not comfortable swimming a mile in open water, do not participate for your own safety ****
We will need 1 or 2 paddleboard/kayak volunteers to watch two crossings, but we don't anticipate much, if any, boat traffic.
You are all also invited to cross over to Bonita cove after the race to celebrate James' Retirement Party from 9am-2pm (morning active running/swimming/paddling/yoga/etc. then lunch around 11)
