Venice Design Week 2025 apre sabato 11 ottobre nel cuore di Venezia

Alle 11 è l’inizio ufficiale della settimana del design a Venezia.
Ti aspettiamo all’auditorium di The Human Safety Net, all’interno delle storiche Procuratie Vecchie in Piazza San Marco 105, per una mattinata dedicata all’innovazione, alla creatività e al dialogo.

The Human Safety Net è un luogo simbolico di apertura e connessione: un hub dedicato all’innovazione sociale, alla condivisione di idee e all’incontro tra culture e professionalità diverse. Un contesto ideale per inaugurare la Venice Design Week, che ogni anno porta in città nuove visioni, progetti di design contemporaneo e tecnologie emergenti.

Venice Design Week è un punto di riferimento per chi ama il design e l’architettura: un evento diffuso che coinvolge l’intera città, mettendo in relazione designer, aziende, istituzioni e pubblico. Un percorso che esplora il legame tra tradizione e innovazione, saperi artigianali e strumenti digitali, pensiero creativo e sostenibilità.

Durante l’evento inaugurale, esploreremo il tema di quest’anno: “TEMPORA”, attraverso talk, presentazioni e storie ispiratrici.
Un’occasione per scoprire in anteprima oggetti di design, processi creativi e idee che generano valore culturale, sociale ed economico.

Ringraziamo tutti coloro che hanno reso possibile questa edizione: istituzioni, designer, partner, aziende, volontari – e naturalmente voi, il pubblico, che con la vostra partecipazione date senso ed energia a questo evento.

Chi lo desidera potrà accedere a partire dalle ore 10 per visitare la mostra “The World of Potential” oppure per gustare un caffè negli spazi delle restaurate Procuratie Vecchie, riprogettate dall’architetto David Chipperfield.

Venice Design Week 2025 Opens on Saturday, October 11th, in the Heart of Venice

At 11:00 AM, the official opening of Venice Design Week will take place.
Join us at the auditorium of The Human Safety Net, located inside the historic Procuratie Vecchie at Piazza San Marco 105, for a morning dedicated to innovation, creativity, and dialogue.

The Human Safety Net is a symbolic space of openness and connection — a hub for social innovation, the exchange of ideas, and encounters between diverse cultures and professional backgrounds. It offers the perfect setting to inaugurate Venice Design Week, which each year brings new visions, contemporary design projects, and emerging technologies to the city.

Venice Design Week is a key event for lovers of design and architecture: a city-wide initiative that connects designers, businesses, institutions, and the public. It charts a journey through the relationship between tradition and innovation, craftsmanship and digital tools, creative thinking and sustainability.

At the opening event, we’ll explore this year’s theme — “TEMPORA” — through talks, presentations, and inspiring stories.
A unique opportunity to preview design objects, creative processes, and ideas that generate cultural, social, and economic value.

Welcome to Venice Design Week 2025 — the future of design begins in Venice.

Starting from 10:00 AM, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the exhibition “The World of Potential” or enjoy a coffee in the beautifully restored spaces of the Procuratie Vecchie, redesigned by architect David Chipperfield.

Please note: the conference will be held primarily in Italian, with some parts in English.
