We're so excited to be back at the vibey Cactus Room. We've been working hard on Velatine since we met 9 months ago, we've released 2 studio singles, made lots of new connections both here and OS with our music, we've made film clips, done a Live to Air on Bleeding Black Heart Review [3PBS] which was a blast. And become a live act with a show that's an immersive experience with each track having its own visual theme. You check out live videos of our first show together at Cactus Room in Jan on our YouTube Channel @velatine. We also have a new single out soon that you’ll hear more about later because we like to surprise, Yes, we’ve been busy!
But it's what happens behind the scenes that is the most important thing for both of us, creating. We have shared goals and a vision for Velatine and a lot of material to record so the timing seems right to step back from the live aspect and concentrate on making an album with the space to explore new ideas musically with focus. We already know pretty much our sound, our look, who we are when creating together, nine months of getting together every week has taught us so much about each other and what we want from this. So, this is the last show for a while, at least one where we headline, but we’ll keep the door open for a support slot if offered. So this show is about hanging out with our friends for a bit of a party before we head into the studio to emerge with an album to be proud of. But of course we will need to press this album when it’s done, so you can think of this side hustle as a donation if you want to support / party with us.
