Velada de Muertos 2024: We Are Eternal

We are excited to invite you to our annual Velada de Muertos, an event full of color, traditions, art, delicious food and community. In this year and election cycle full of violence and racism, it is more important than ever to be with your community in celebration, ritual and solidarity.

Join us on Friday, November 1st from 6pm to 12am, at Trans Queer Pueblo's casita (1726 East Roosevelt St).

We invite you to enjoy our beautiful Central American and Mexican LGBT+ traditions:

• a feast of traditional gastronomy
• a beautiful traditional altar with a wall of memories
• art installation with recognized Phoenix artists
• arts and crafts creations for children and adults
• traditional seed and flower painting installation
• a Trans Migrant Rosary for LGBT+ migrant justice
• much more

Join us November 1st at 6pm and bring your friends and family - the event is open to the public. We invite you to bring (all optional)

• a printed or digital photo of your muertitos for the wall of memories,
• a bouquet of flowers for the ofrenda,
• a dish, drink, or liquor of your choice to share with the dead and the living.
