About this Event
Join CSU Extension at CSU WCRC- Rogers Mesa on July 11th from 1-3pm to investigate the complex interactions between pests, predators, and pollinators with your vegetable garden or farm!
Have you ever found yourself wondering which insects interact with your vegetable garden? Who are they exactly? What are their behaviors/habits? What do they eat? How do they help or hurt your garden or farm? Now is your chance to take a deeper dive into the world of garden insects here in western Colorado! This in-depth series titled “Vegetable Predators and Pollinators” will be presented by Melissa Schreiner, our local Colorado State University Extension entomologist in the Tri-River Area. Melissa will share fascinating information and photographs on dozens of vegetable insects and their: identification, biology, lifecycles, impacts, and management.
