JOIN SACTOWN VEG SOCIETY FOR OUR MONTHLY POTLUCK.Come socialize, learn, and indulge in a variety of nutritious foods with us. Whether you're a seasoned vegan or just curious about incorporating more plant-based meals into your routine—or anywhere in between—this event is for you.
In addition to our regular vegan potluck, where you can enjoy delicious plant-based dishes and connect with like-minded individuals who are passionate about healthy living, environmental sustainability, compassion for animals, and nutrition, we will also CELEBRATE THE LIFE OF OUR LONG-TIME BOARD PRESIDENT who passed away on 1/27.
If you have any thoughts or stories about Don you would like to share, we'd love to hear from you. If you have photos or other items to display in connection with Don's eclectic activities, please let me know. We'll add them to the planned displays.
We are deeply grateful to Cohousing residents who out of respect for Don will host our upcoming potlucks so that we can continue to have them at Southside Park Cohousing, knowing how much this would have met to Don.
WHAT TO BRING:
– a 100%-vegan* (no animal products):
• appetizer
• soup
• salad
• side dish
• entreé
• dessert
– ENOUGH FOOD TO SERVE 8–10, a serving utensil, a recipe and complete list of ingredients (in consideration of everyone's food preferences and food allergies).
PLACE SETTINGS WILL BE PROVIDED (plates, bowls, flatware, cups, glasses & napkins) courtesy of our host).
– ALL 100%-VEGAN* OFFERINGS ARE WELCOME. If you are bringing a whole-food, plant-based, oil/sugar/salt-free, or gluten-free dish (optional), please mark as such for our members who adhere to these styles of eating.

THIS IS A FREE EVENT, BUT WE SUGGEST A $1.00 DONATION to cover the use of the Common Room and kitchen. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

The Common House at 434 T Street is directly behind 440 T Street, in the interior courtyard bordered by 4th, 5th, T, and U Streets. Pathways in the middle of the T–U Streets and 4th–5th Streets blocks lead to the Common House in the center of the courtyard. There is plenty of on-street parking.
