Join Compassionate Action for Animals for a fun evening at Dreamstate Cafe, to enjoy their Chili Crisp Burnt End Tacos. It was so popular during the Twin Cities Vegan Chef Challenge that it won second place in the competition, and when Dreamstate Cafe opened, the dish was put on the permanent menu!
🌟 What to expect: This is a casual, social evening centered around good vegan food and community. There will be an opportunity to take a remote action together to support stronger protections for animals, and an optional game (“social bingo”) to get to know people.
🌱 About the Twin Cities Vegan Chef Challenge: Each August, restaurants across the Twin Cities create new vegan dishes for this month-long competition. The 2025 Twin Cities Vegan Chef Challenge drew over 1,600 votes from diners across the metro!
🦉 About Dreamstate Cafe: The newest vegan joint we know of in the Twin Cities, Dreamstate is a plant based, all day cafe & bar at the corner of 26th St + Lyndale Ave — brought to you by the folks behind Reverie Cafe + Bar. Check out their incredible menu, with tons of innovative, delicious vegan options and a full brunch, lunch, dinner, and bar menus. In addition to being on several bus lines, parking is available in the back, and there is street parking nearby.
