Please join Kenilworth Town Council in commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE Day.The event taking place on Thursday 8 May 2025 will begin at 7:30pm at Kenilworth Castle and will include:
Performances from two local school choirs;
Traditional Bagpiper, Rhys Fitter formally of the 1st Battalion Scot Guards;
Poetry reading by Kenilworth Twinning Association;
Remembrance Service led by the Royal British Legion;
Local theatre actors from Talisman Theatre performing 'Memories';
Tealights for all guests to represent the Lamp Lights of Peace, and;
The lighting of the Beacon on the Strong Tower!
It is **FREE ENTRY** for all and refreshments will be available to purchase from the Castle on the night.
It promises to be a wonderful occasion and we look forward to you joining us to celebrate.
