Meeting Highlights:
Food: Light appetizers, coffee and tea will be provided. To help cover costs, we kindly ask
for a $30 + $3.40 (Eventbrite fee) = $33.40 contribution per attendee.
· Agenda:
1. Opening Remarks: A welcome by one of VCAN’s founders.
2.Presentation: Bitcoin in Plain English: the problem it solves by Ernesto Altahona
Ernesto Altahona is a fintech product leader with experience building financial products in regulated environments. Undergrad in finances and an MBA from the university of Exeter, England. He has worked at the intersection of payments, digital finance, and crypto, focused on real-world user problems and risk controls. He enjoys translating complex topics into plain language. He’ll be speaking about Bitcoin fundamentals and the “why” behind it.
3. Member Introductions: Each attendee will have 30 seconds to:
o Introduce themselves and share their company or professional background
o Highlight how VCAN can best support their business goals or needs
4. Open Networking: The remainder of the evening will be dedicated to building connections.
