Light Up Your Summer at Illumination Station VBS! 💡Looking for a free, high-energy summer adventure? Join us for the brightest week of the year! Illumination Station is an immersive experience where kids explore the world through the lens of light, discovering that Jesus is the “Light of the World”.
Participation is completely free, and prior experience with a church is not necessary. The goal is to provide local families with an unforgettable week of discovery, creativity, and friendship. Everyone is welcome to come and see what happens when the lights are turned up on fun!
The week is structured around a “station-to-station” model where kids rotate through high-energy activities. Kids will travel through several specialized environments each day:
Sun catcher Recreation: High-energy games that use movement to reinforce the day’s theme.
Kaleidoscope Crafts: Hands-on projects where kids use prisms, mirrors, and vibrant colors to create unique art.
Glow-in-the-Dark Missions: Interactive sessions where kids learn about helping others globally and locally, in a “glow” themed setting.
Mirror Ball Music: A celebratory atmosphere where kids learn catchy songs and dances under shimmering lights.
Neon Snacks: Fun, theme-related treats!
The day typically begins with a high-energy Opening Assembly featuring skits and music, and wraps up with a Closing Rally to recap the day’s discoveries before kids head home.
Who: Children (PreK–5th) + Adult VBS sessions running concurrently.
Theme: Exploring John 8:12—shining a light on who Jesus really is!
