While many people claim to know about Jesus, too many are in the dark about who He really is. Some might see Jesus as just a person from history, a good man, or a wise teacher but He is so much more than that. At Illumination Station VBS, kids will be challenged to answer Jesus' important question to His disciples, "Who do you say that I am?" As they explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals, kids will discover that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world.
"I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life." John 8:12
Kids in Pre-K through 6th grade will enjoy a week of creative crafts, exciting games, energetic worship, meaningful Bible study, and fun snacks — all centered around discovering who Jesus really is!
Each day in Illumination Station will explore a true and clear picture of Jesus from Scripture: 
Day 1 – Jesus Is God’s Promised Son
Kids will explore Jesus’ question to His disciples and learn that He isn’t just a teacher — He is God’s promised Messiah, the Son of God, just as the Bible says. (Matthew 16:13-20) 
Day 2 – Jesus Is God’s Perfect Son
Through the story of Jesus’ baptism and God’s voice from heaven, kids will learn that Jesus is God’s perfect Son, chosen and loved by the Father. (Matthew 3; Mark 1; John 1) 
Day 3 – Jesus Is the Powerful Son of God
Children will see how Jesus’ words and actions show His authority and power, teaching us He is more than a good man — He is the powerful Son of God. (Matthew 15; Matthew 28) 
Day 4 – Jesus Is the Proven Son of God
We’ll explore Jesus’ death and resurrection — the most important proof that He is exactly who He claimed to be and lives forever. (Mark 14-16) 
Day 5 – Jesus Is God’s Plan for Forgiveness
Kids will discover that Jesus is the only way to receive God’s forgiveness and that following Him brings a new life of hope and joy. (Acts 2) 
Our goal is for every child to walk away knowing Jesus not just as a story, but as the Light of the world they can follow every day!
