The Virginia Beer Company will host the 3rd year of our Singer, Songwriter Storytellers performances in collaboration with Kudlz Entertainment. Original music will be showcased over several weeks and you can get to hear some of the stories behind the songs.April 19th, Ben Phelps Duo continues the series. You may have heard Ben & Mike or some variations from The Ben Phelps Project at VBC on several occasions. Their sound is described as a "melting pot of southern soul" that blends jazz, acoustic folk, blues, and rock, often featuring soaring saxophone and guitar solos. The Ben Phelps Project is a band from Virginia that focuses on creating a style all their own merging elements of jazz, acoustic folk, blues, and rock into a melting pot of southern soul featuring. Along with creating original music with their unique sound and song writing, the band also incorporates many cover songs into their show with their own stylistic take. The BPP has played shows throughout the East Coast since its inception in 2004.
Williamsburg has always created a place where original music is celebrated and appreciated and we look forward to bringing some of the amazing artists to you during this series.
