About this Event
The Vaughan Nash celebrates the very best of SWI craftsmanship, showcasing members’ talent, creativity, and skill. This year’s theme — Festivals — invites vibrant, imaginative pieces inspired by celebrations, traditions, and gatherings from near and far.
All entries will be displayed at the SWI Members' Gathering at the Apex Hotel City Quay, Dundee on 11th - 12th September 2026.
Typically the main exhibition is only open to attendees of the Members' Gathering, however this year we'd like to invite non-attendees to join us for exclusive access to the Vaughan Nash – National Handcraft Exhibition, during a dedicated two-hour window at the Members’ Gathering on Saturday 12th September, 11:15am – 1:15pm.
This viewing slot is open to both members and non-members, but spaces are limited.
RSVP is essential. Entry is £10 payable on the door (cash or card).
If you can no longer attend, please cancel your RSVP so another attendee has the chance to experience the exceptional festival-themed crafts created by SWI members.
Please note that no refreshments will be available, as a Members’ Gathering will be taking place during this period.

Please note: If you are collecting your entries from the Apex Hotel City Quay, Dundee and you do not have a ticket to the Members' Gathering, you will have to collect them after the event has ended at 4:30pm on Saturday 12th September.
