/// What is it?
The Vantaa Music Sharing workshop invites everyone who loves music and knows how to play an instrument and/or sing to come together. For one weekend, we will learn songs from each other and arrange them for a performance at the Welcome to Vantaa event.
Who can participate?
Amateur and professional musicians, who are interested in learning music from different parts of the world and from each other. The only requirement is that you know how to play your instrument/sing and commit to being present throughout the workshop.
When?
Workshop
Saturday May 2, 10 am–6 pm
Sunday May 3, 10 am–6 pm
Concert
Thursday May 7 – musicians meet at 2 pm
Concert starts at 7 pm
Where? The workshop will be held on Saturday and Sunday May 2–3 at Kilteri School in Myyrmäki (Iskostie 8), and the concert will be held on Thursday May 7 at Heureka (Tiedepuisto 1) in Tikkurila.

Due to the limited number of places, you must register to attend the workshop.
Workshop language: English. The facilitators also speak Portuguese, Spanish, German, French.
Cost? Free of charge. Lunch provided on Sat & Sun May 2–3
About the facilitators
Manu Rosales is a musician from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He plays the guitar, sings and composes his own music. He is currently completing his master’s degree in Global Music at Sibelius Academy.
Stephanie Kobori sings and plays the clarinet. She comes from São Paulo, Brazil and is currently living between Finland and Germany, where she is studying for her master’s degree in Cultural Diversity in Music Education at the University of Hildesheim.
