Vanderbilt Latin Jazz Ensemble

Experience Vanderbilt University Blair School of Music’s award winning Latin Jazz Ensemble. Under the direction of Marc Widenhofer this group performs original music and Cuban classics in the Cuban and Salsa traditions.
Comprised of some of the finest improvising musicians at the Blair School, Vanderbilt’s Latin Jazz Ensemble was invited to perform at the 2023 JEN Conference and has made a recent trip to perform in Miami, FL.
These musicians are Nashville’s rising stars and the Young Lions of Music City!
