Start and End Date: Saturday, 25 April.

Meeting Location and Time:

  • Option A: Meet inside Paris Gare du Nord at 9:00 am on Saturday.
  • Option B: Meet outside Auvers-sur-Oise Train Station at 10:00 am on Saturday.

Note: Exact platform location in Paris Gare du Nord will be advised in the WhatsApp group for confirmed participants the day before the trip.

Finishing Location and Time:

  • Option A: Paris Gare du Nord at 5:30 pm on Saturday.
  • Option B: Auvers-sur-Oise Train Station at 4.30 pm on Saturday.

Hiking Distance: 12 km from Auvers-sur-Oise and back.

Hiking Duration: ~5–6 hours including breaks.

Elevation Gain: ~150 m.

Hiking Difficulty: Easy to Moderate - walking through village streets, countryside trails and historical landmarks.

Pace: Relaxed & social.

Kid and Pet Friendly : Yes

Train: Auvers-sur-Oise can be reached from Paris Gare du Nord in about 1 hour via regional trains.

After a quick introduction, we board the train together toward Auvers-sur-Oise.


🚆 9:15 AM – Train Journey to Auvers-sur-Oise

Enjoy a scenic train ride through the northern Paris countryside as we leave the busy city behind and head toward the peaceful landscapes that inspired Vincent van Gogh.


🏡 10:15 AM – Arrival in Auvers-sur-Oise

We arrive in the charming village and begin our exploration with an introduction to Van Gogh’s life during his final months.


🎨 10:30 AM – Visit Maison de Van Gogh

Visit Maison de Van Gogh, where the artist spent the last 70 days of his life and created some of his most famous works.


⛪ 11:15 AM – Church of Auvers & Village Walk

See the famous Church of Auvers, immortalized in one of Van Gogh’s most iconic paintings.
We then stroll through the quiet village streets and historic buildings.


🌾 12:00 PM – Countryside Walk through Van Gogh’s Landscapes

We walk through the beautiful countryside paths and wheat fields that inspired many of Van Gogh’s final paintings. This section offers some of the most beautiful viewpoints and photo opportunities of the day.


🍽 1:00 PM – Lunch Break in the Village

Enjoy a relaxed lunch break in Auvers-sur-Oise.
Participants are free to choose from charming local cafés or bakeries.
