Join us for our Vamos Habibi versus concept at Sala Sonidos. Every party will highlight two of your favorite artists from Latin America and the Middle East. As the cross pollination of Arabic and Latin music continues to evolve and grow, we are excited to push the boundaries of both genres while still honoring their unique traditions. Our second party will showcase two global musical juggernauts.

Arabic and Latin often feature syncopated beats, polyrhythms, and complex percussion arrangements that create a vibrant and energetic sound. Both traditions place a strong emphasis on melody, with ornate melodic lines that are often influenced by improvisation. This focus on melody allows for expressive performances and emotional depth that are perfect for dancing to.
Ragheb Alama (Arabic: راغب علامة born 7 June 1962) is a Lebanese music artist and television personality. Alama began his career in the 1980s when he appeared as a contestant on the talent show broadcast Studio El Fan, on which he received the Platinum Award.
Alama's fame came after Studio El Fan followed by yearly albums and number-one hit singles such as "Ya lait" (If Only), "'Aan Jad" (Seriously) and "Alby Asheq'ha" (My Heart Adores Her) which was the first Arabic song in history to be made into a music video. Alama continued his success into the 2000s with the release of his chart-topping albums Saharony El Leil (2001), Tab Leh (2002), El Hob El Kebeer (2004) and Ba'asha'ak (2008), the latter which earned the artist the Platinum certification from Virgin Megastores for its record sales.
Juan Luis Londoño Arias (born January 28, 1994), known professionally as Maluma, is a Colombian singer. Born and raised in Medellín, he developed an interest in music at a young age, recording songs since age sixteen. He released his debut album, , a year later in 2012. But, his breakthrough album was 2015's , which led to successful collaborations with many artists. He released in 2018, another commercial success. He followed it with in 2019, and , surprise-released in 2020. His single "Hawái" reached number three on the Global 200, and became the first number one single on the Global Excl. U.S. chart. Selling more than 18 million records (albums and singles), Maluma is one of the best-selling Latin music artists.Musically, Maluma's songs have been described as reggaeton, Latin trap, and pop.
