Nestled in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand, Valley of Flowers National Park is one of India’s most magical high-altitude landscapes.Located in the Chamoli District at about 3,250–3,650 meters above sea level, the valley blooms with vibrant alpine wildflowers during the monsoon.It remained hidden from the outside world for centuries.It was later discovered by mountaineer-botanist Frank S. Smythe, who captured its beauty in his book The Valley of Flowers.
