Once reserved for Queensland Rail’s senior executives as they toured the state, these iconic railmotors now provide passengers with the rare opportunity to travel in vintage luxury. Panoramic windscreens offer the unique thrill of sitting directly behind the drivers as you watch the track unfold ahead.
With air-conditioning, elegant interiors, and a lovingly restored finish, these railmotors promise a Valentine’s evening that is as comfortable as it is unforgettable.
Trip Itinerary:
From 5:45 pm – Guests arrive at Toowoomba Station
6:15 pm – Depart Toowoomba Station aboard the Commissioner Railmotors
6:50 pm – Arrive at Cambooya and stroll to the Bull & Barley Inn for dinner
8:30 pm – Reboard the railmotor for your return journey
9:30 pm – Arrive back at Toowoomba Station

Passengers can sit directly behind the drivers watching the track ahead though the panoramic widescreens to feel the excitement of being at the heart of the action as you traverse through the scenic countryside.
Our meticulously restored, air-conditioned railmotors ensure that every moment of your journey is as delightful as it is memorable. Whether you're a history enthusiast or simply seeking a unique adventure, our railway tours offer an unforgettable experience.
The total rail experience will last approximately 5 hours.

Drinks are available for purchase at the Bull & Barley Inn.
Due to the alternate drop service, we are unable to cater for specific dietary requirements or food allergies.
Passengers are encouraged to wear flat, comfortable shoes for the short walk between the station and the pub.

Please plan to arrive at Toowoomba Station at least 30 minutes before departure.
Onboard toilets are available on both Railmotors.
Concession fares are not available for this trip.

Unfortunately, due to the era of the Railmotors, wheelchair access is not available. Access requires using steps into the carriages.
