Our women’s speed-friending events come with all the goodness: A welcome drink on arrival, light canapes, entry into our lucky-door prize competition, easy conversations including conversation cards, a chance to meet a variety of women and - great energy!! If you’re ready to meet like-minded women in a comfortable setting, then get ready for an exciting experience designed just for you! Inspired by the fun and fast pace of Speed-Dating, Create My Tribe is all about sparking new friendships that could last a lifetime. Imagine an event filled with engaging conversations, and the joy of connecting with fantastic women from all walks of life!

How It Works:
You arrive at our event, where your host will be ready to greet you and make you feel welcome. Once inside, help yourself to your welcome drink on arrival, and then it's time to settle in and get started - Let the fun begin! You are seated with your first potential new match, the timer is set for 3 minutes, and it's time to start connecting. With each tick, you’ll dive into natural and comfortable conversations with incredible women seated across from you. Feeling a bit shy? (Completely normal!) We’ve done all the hard work for you and have provided some fun conversation cards to kick-start your chats and keep the convo vibes flowing!

When the timer rings, it’s time to switch! You’ll move on to meet your next potential new match, and another round of new conversations. Each encounter is a fresh opportunity to discover common interests, share stories, and forge new connections, and friendships.

Kelly - your host, looks forward to welcoming you to the first Create My Tribe in Toowoomba! This event will be held at The Irish - 80 Russell Street, Toowoomba QLD. After the event has finished, please feel free to stay to and check out the venue for a drink, bite to eat and mingle!
Ticket Inclusions:
As each event and venue is different, ticket prices may vary. Tickets for this event include:

• A welcome drink on arrival & light canapes
• Private Venue
• Professional Host
• Entry into our lucky-door prize competition
• Conversation Cards to help the convo vibes flow
• Curated speed-friending experience with a variety of women
• Post-event professional match-making service. Participants indicate who they were interested in becoming friends with. If two people express a mutual interest in friendship, they will be connected. If only one party shows interest, there is not mutual match.

Number of attendees:
We try limit attendee numbers to between 10-16, however, we reserve the right to increase/decrease this number at our discretion.
What if I struggle to make conversation?
Don't panic! We will provide a list of conversation cards for you to use so you are not lost for words, although you may ask your own questions if you prefer. However, please avoid asking personal questions such as where do you live? How much do you earn? What is your surname? What are your contact details? These are classified as uncomfortable questions which may lead to less matches.
Do I have to be within the age bracket stated?
Generally speaking, yes. However, if you are just outside of that age bracket and want to attend an event with younger women or older women, please reach out to us directly. Please note: we will be hosting more speed-friending events with various different age brackets so keep an eye out on our socials.
When will I know who I have matched with?
We will contact you within 72 hours of the event to let you know the contact details of any matches you may have so you can then arrange to connect. Your contact details will only be given to those you have mutually matched with.
Refund Policy
Sorry there are strictly no refunds for this event, but your place is transferable (with at least 48 hours’ notice) if you wish to send another friend within the age bracket for this event. It is important that you let us know if you are not coming at all, or advise us the name, age and contact details of your substitute, as we must have even numbers for the event to run smoothly.

Terms & Conditions

Create My Tribe provides its event ticket holders with an opportunity to meet people at events hosted by Create My Tribe. These Terms and Conditions (T&C’s) apply to Create My Tribe.

This Agreement sets out the legally binding terms for registering with Create My Tribe and for participation in all Create My Tribe events. Create My Tribe reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate your access to our events, without notice, upon any breach of this agreement by you which is brought to our attention. Until such time, this Agreement will remain in full force and effect whilst you participate in any Create My Tribe events. By participating in Create My Tribe events, you abide by the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Create My Tribe takes reasonable steps to keep all information supplied by you confidential.

Create My Tribe reserves the right to review and change any of the terms by updating these terms at its sole discretion. Any changes to the terms take immediate effect from the date of their publication.

If Create My Tribe is sold, we reserve the right to transfer without notice, your personal information, including any rights collected and agreements made with you.

​Definitions

Create My Tribe is referred to as "our", "we", "us" and "its" throughout the Terms and Conditions.

Any reference in this agreement to “you” or "your" is a reference to any person accessing or browsing this website or attending our events.

Any reference to an attendee going on a future “Friend Request event” with another attendee is a reference to an agreement between two individuals that they are to meet each other at a particular time and place with a view to getting to know each other and becoming friends.​

Acceptance of the Terms

​You accept the terms by purchasing your ticket. If you are booking for more than one person, you will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions on their behalf and made them aware of these terms and conditions and their obligations hereunder. By purchasing a ticket to an event, enquiring about an event or joining an event waitlist, you agree to receive future event invitations and marketing material. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying “STOP” to the email.

​Events Policy

To attend an event run by Create My Tribe you must be 18 years or older. Create My Tribe does not accept any registrations to our events for those under the age of 18. If we have been made aware that you have provided any misleading or false personal information to us, you will be prohibited from attending any of Create My Tribe’s events and you will not be issued with a refund under these circumstances. This includes the use of false names and/or providing an incorrect age, e.g. saying you 18, when you are younger. Create My Tribe has the right to prohibit you from any events at our discretion for any reason.

By attending a Create My Tribe Event you consent to Create My Tribe providing your first name and the initial of your surname to anyone that has mutually matched you for the same event. As well as your first name and surname initial, only your email address will be shared with any 'mutual' matches that you receive.

Create My Tribe is unable to reserve your place at an event until payment has been received.​

Cancellation Policy

Tickets are not refundable, however:
Should an event need to be rescheduled or cancelled due to certain reasons, weather, insufficient numbers, venue changes or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control Create My Tribe will refund tickets if you are unable to attend revised dates. Your place is also transferable (with at least 48 hours’ notice) if you wish to send a friend of the same sex and within the age bracket for the event.

​If you have purchased a ticket to an event and you do not attend the event or leave the event early, you are not eligible for a refund or credit under any circumstances. If you arrive late to an event and the event has commenced, and you have not notified us prior to the start of the event, we may refuse your participation at the event if your arrival would cause disruption to the running of the event. You will not receive a refund or credit.​​

If we become aware that your behaviour has been inappropriate, offensive or abusive to other guests or staff, you may be removed from the event without any refund and you will be prohibited from attending future events.

While we aim to have an equal number of attendees at each event, this is not guaranteed and may not always be possible due to attendee no-shows and last-minute cancellations. While we do understand that people’s schedules can change, we ask our guests to notify us with as much notice as possible so we can invite another guest to take your place.

Waiver and Release

I waive, release and discharge Create My Tribe and any event sponsors from all claims or causes of action I may have arising from any injury, loss or damage of any kind suffered by me including personal injury, mental health problems, illness or death and/or loss or damage to any property (in so far as this does not breach the provisions of the relevant Australian Consumer Law) arising either directly or indirectly out of my attendance at or participation in any event organised by Create My Tribe.

I agree to adhere to all event rules and conditions. I understand that I must follow and obey all directions and instructions given by event hosts and staff. Create My Tribe reserves the right in their discretion, to reject or cancel my entry to an event at any time, including without limitation for safety of other guests or insurance reasons.

I acknowledge that Create My Tribe or the venue management may remove me from any event area:

on medical, health, safety or security grounds (including to prevent possible harm or injury to myself or any other person),

to prevent damage to any property,

if my behaviour is inappropriate, offensive, or abusive.

I indemnify and will keep indemnified Create My Tribe and any event sponsor(s) against any inappropriate conversations I may have with any other guests at any event as well as communications or meetings that I arrange on my own volition and on my own time, with others who have participated in a Create My Tribe event. I agree that I take sole and complete responsibility for all actions that might occur during any meeting or communication.

Create My Tribe does not make any guarantees of any kind in relation to its services.

I indemnify and will keep indemnified Create My Tribe, each event sponsor and each speed-friending venue operator for the actions of myself or any person that I may meet through an Create My Tribe event.

I take sole responsibility for my actions that might occur during any event, meeting, communication or meet-up.

While Create My Tribe does screen the information guests provide in their order form, we do not perform character checks, background checks or police checks of any kind on any individuals participating in our events.

I release all rights of any photos or videos taken of me at an event for use on the Create My Tribe Facebook page or for their business promotion purposes. I also understand that:

If I do not want my photo to be taken, I can tell the photographer and the photographer will respect my wishes,

If I am posing for a photo, I am giving the photographer consent to take the photo to be published as stated above,

I can contact Create My Tribe and ask for my face to be blurred should I see myself in a photo that is uploaded to the Create My Tribe social media pages or used for advertising purposes.

Create My Tribe Reserves the Right

Create My Tribe reserves the right to refuse entry to any guests. We also reserve the right to ask you to leave, or to arrange for your removal if you do not voluntarily leave after being granted entry, for reasons such as intoxication, aggression, bullying or any other inappropriate behaviour that may offend others or put any of our guests, staff or our reputation at risk.

We may refuse our service to you and reserve the right to refuse a refund for any event tickets purchased by you or another person on your behalf under any of the following circumstances:

1. Complaints have been made about your behaviour or demeanour by other attendees at any event.

2. You have not received any matches at a previous speed-friending event on more than one occasion. You may have done nothing wrong; however, we would rather not take your payment if we don't feel we can offer you any mutual matches with our attendees.

3. Have left during an event without good reason and without first advising Create My Tribe staff of this reason. Please note that leaving an event without good reason results in disadvantage to the remaining attendees.

4. Have become intoxicated at a previous event.

5. Have acted inappropriately towards other event attendees, Create My Tribe staff or venue staff at a previous event.

6. Have provided false or misleading information when purchasing a ticket to an event.

7. Have not provided your full name when purchasing a ticket.

8. Have not provided sufficient proof of your name or age when asked.

9. Have not followed the instructions or direction of Create My Tribe staff during a previous event.

10. At a previous event, have acted in such a way that caused disruption to the running of an event or negatively affected the experience of other event attendees.
