About this Event
Couples/Partner Yoga creates a shared experience in a warm, nurturing environment that is focused on community care. Similar to regular yoga class, partner yoga poses are practiced by two people who help guide each other through physical touch. Poses are often practiced back-to-back, side-to-side, and front-to-front.
Prior yoga experience is not required.
Pamia Coleman, of @blackgirlswithgreenthumbs will guide this beginners class in tandem with co-founder, Latiaynna Tabb
What to Expect:

The yoga class is on the second floor of the CEC, in the ECR dance studio. Unfortunately, there is only stair access.

Black Girls With Green Thumbs is kicking off 2025 with an event that centers on connection - to ourselves, each other, and the communities we love.
This relaxing, heartwarming session is open to all - partners, friends, or anyone looking to share a mindful moment. Not only will you be deepening your wellness practice, but you'll be planting a seed in our mission towards community wellness...and organizational sustainability.
Throughout 2025 we invite you to invest in our mission through special events and various donation opportunities that will directly support the public and school programs that we have offered for the last 9 years! Our goal is to reduce our reliance on grants and become more supported by the community we serve - ensuring long-term sustainability for urban gardns, wellness initiatives, and educational outreach.
This Partner's Yoga class is just the beginning!
