Valence are a female-fronted alternative rock band from Hertfordshire. Combining elements from the alternative rock and shoegaze scenes of the 90s, Valence are inspired by some of the greats including RHCP and Radiohead.
SAFETY JACKET
Formed in Brighton in 2019 but have found themselves based in London more often these days. The band comprises of long-term friends, George Smale (guitar + vocals) and Harvey Cash (bass + vocals), with friend Jono White joining on drums recently. They are a DIY, indie rock band, known for their raw and passionate delivery. They have released two albums so far, 'Honey From the Wasp Nest' (2022) and 'Snow Falling Over the Sea' (2025). They are currently recording their third album.
