Vaccine Update Day at the Ranch – Volunteers & Youth Welcome! 💉🐾This Tuesday at 1 PM, Dr. Williams from Companion Animal Hospital-Live Oak will be coming out to Doggie Dude Ranch to update vaccines on several of our rescue dogs.
We are incredibly grateful for veterinary partners who are willing to come directly to the ranch and help us keep our pups healthy, protected, and adoption-ready.
Now we need a few helping hands!
We’re looking for volunteers to assist with:
• Bringing dogs up to the vet area
• Gentle handling and comforting
• Keeping things organized and moving smoothly
• Extra love and calm energy
✨ Homeschool families — this is a wonderful hands-on learning opportunity!
Students can observe how vaccine days work, learn about preventive care, responsible rescue practices, and see firsthand what it takes to keep dogs healthy. We would LOVE to open this up for our youth to join us and learn alongside our team.
🐾 This will also count as a Junior Rescue Squad Day, so our young rescuers are encouraged to attend and be part of the action!
Behind-the-scenes medical days are just as important as adoption events. Staying up to date medically means our dogs are safe, healthy, and fully prepared for their forever homes.
