Vaccination & Injection Skills Training
This Vaccination & Injection Skills Training course is a face-to-face, clinician-led programme designed for healthcare professionals who require practical competence and confidence in vaccination and injection skills, delivered through theory and simulated practice.
Delivered in small groups (maximum 10 learners), the course places a strong emphasis on hands-on injection technique, patient safety, and emergency response, including Basic Life Support (BLS) and anaphylaxis management.
The training is aligned to the UK National Minimum Standards for Immunisation Training and is particularly suitable for clinicians who want focused, practical vaccination skills in a supportive learning environment.

CERTIFICATION
On successful completion, learners will receive a Certificate of Attendance and Assessed Competence in Vaccination & Injection Skills (theory and simulated practice), aligned to the UK National Minimum Standards for Immunisation Training.
Important:
Completion of this course confirms successful completion of theory learning and supervised simulated practical assessment in vaccination and injection skills. Ongoing competence, clinical supervision, and authority to administer vaccines in practice remain the responsibility of the learner’s employing or host organisation under an appropriate Patient Group Direction (PGD) or Patient Specific Direction (PSD).
PRE-COURSE REQUIREMENT
Pre-course learning materials will be provided by email prior to the course date and must be reviewed before attendance. These materials form part of the theoretical component of the course.
CANCELLATION & MINIMUM NUMBERS
This course requires a minimum number of attendees to run. If minimum numbers are not met, the organiser reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the course. In this event, attendees will be offered a full refund or transfer to a future date.
