This is an ONLINE event.
THE LINK WILL BE SENT TO YOU 2 days, 1 day, 12 hours, 30 mins & 1 min BEFORE THE EVENT plus details of how to access the medical papers that you will need during the lecture
Following on from 'Vaccination - The Question' and 'Nursing Supportively Through Acute Illness - Covid-19 - Fever Management', this lecture examines the subject of vaccination safety, efficacy and immunity in more detail, looking at what the science tells us and discussing what is found when the evidence is scrutinised, with specific reference to MMR and whooping cough vaccine trials, adverse event reporting, meningitis ecology, 'flu vaccine, and nutrition and vaccination.
If you are a person researching the subject of vaccination or a practitioner with an interest in the science of immunity and natural health then this lecture is ideal for you. With her years of research into the subject of vaccination and disease ecology, Dr Jayne Donegan will guide you through how to read scientific papers and help you to interpret the this in an interesting and accessible way.
Outline

• Plenary
Aims
That those participating:
Achieve an understanding of the validity of claims made in scientific papers
Learn how to spot inconsistencies
Have practical experience of doing this
Appreciate the fact that there is scientific evidence available that supports what many holistic practitioners believe from their empirical and philosophical practices
Are stimulated to further study in this area.
NB You will be given details of how to access the course papers with the online link.
You will be able to join this lecture at 7.15 pm
