🪡 UWASS Lower Years Suturing Night 2025 🪡The UWA Surgical Society is excited to invite you to our Lower Years Suturing Night – your chance to get hands-on with one of the most fundamental clinical skills in medicine: suturing.
This workshop will introduce a range of basic suturing techniques, perfect for early-year students looking to build confidence ahead of OSCEs and clinical placements. Whether you're aiming for a career in general practice, surgery, or anything in between, these skills will serve you well 💯
🩺 Who can attend?
Primarily targeted at MD1 and MD2 students, but undergrads with an interest in surgery or clinical skills are more than welcome!
(There will be a separate session later in the year for MD3-4 students.)

🕧 Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
📍 Location: Room G22, L Block, QEII Medical Centre
🎟️ Tickets: $ to be released (inclusive of food and drink 🍕)
Spots are strictly limited to maximise the learning experience. Tickets will be released on a first-come, first-served basis – make sure to grab yours early!
⚠️Important lab requirements:
Closed-in shoes must be worn.
No food, drink (including water), or mobile devices are allowed in the PC2 lab.
These rules are non-negotiable and will be strictly enforced.
