Tule vastaanottamaan uusi tangovuosi Helsingin kattojen yllä, Pasilan El Áticolla, jonka suurista ikkunoista voi ihailla uudenvuoden ilotulituksia! ?
? Kaikkia pyydetään tuomaan jotain hyvää yhteiseen nyyttäripöytään (eli jotain syötävää tai juotavaa jaettavaksi). Mieluusti muuta kuin sipsejä tai karkkia/keksejä: jos käytössäsi on keittiö, esim. jokin salaatti, suolainen leivonnainen tai muu itse valmistettu asia olisi todella tervetullut! ? ? ?
? El Áticolla ei ole baaria tai anniskelua, joten voit vapaasti ottaa mukaan haluamiasi juomia.

Come and welcome the new tango year above the rooftops of Helsinki, at Pasila's El Ático, where you can admire the New Year's fireworks from the large windows! ?
? This is a potluck event so everyone is asked to bring something tasty for the common table (i.e. something to eat or drink to share). Rather something else than potato chips or candy/cookies: if you have a kitchen in use, it would be great if you could prepare a bowl of salad, salty pastry etc. ? ? ?
? El Ático does not have a bar, so you are free to bring your own drinks.

? DJ Jaana Hänninen:
”Playing music in milongas started when establishing my local tango community 2005. I mainly DJ in milongas around Finland, but also internationally. I play traditional music from late 20-ies to mid 50-ies and I play in classical tandas with cortinas, trying also to give special attention to the cortinas.
I see the milonga as an event where people come together to dance, but also to socialize. I try to build my set to be rewarding for the dancers and to grow more intensive towards the end of the milonga. I think that the DJ is there for the dancers, and I enjoy DJ’ing most when I feel that the communication with the dancers works and the atmosphere is good."

Amigos del Tango (AdT) järjestää säännöllisiä viikkomilongoja torstaisin & sunnuntaisin, praktikoita ja muita tapahtumia jäsenilleen. Jäsenet voivat myös käydä harjoittelemassa yhdistyksen tanssisalilla. Tanssisalin tilat ovat myös jäsenten vuokrattavissa. Lattia on hyvälaatuista laminaattia ja mainio tanssimiseen! Amigos del Tango (AdT) organises regular weekly milongas on Thursdays & Sundays, practicas and other events for members. Members can come and practice at the studio. The dance studio is also available for rent by the members. The laminate floor is excellent and made for dancing! The membership fee is 25 € per year (the rest of 2024 for 15 €). Pasilan rautatieasemalta on vain muutaman minuutin kävely. Ratikka 9 tuo perille keskustasta, Kallion kautta. Pysäkki Jämsänkatu.
El Ático is just a few minutes' walk from Pasila railway station. The tram number 9 runs from the city center, via Kallio. The stop is called “Jämsänkatu”:
