Walk The Month of May
Throughout May, Walk Wheel Cycle Trust NI invites Ulster University, Derry-Londonderry Campus staff to take part in a series of optional, free lunchtime movement and wellbeing sessions designed to support physical and mental wellbeing.
Sessions are open to staff of all abilities and fitness levels.
You are welcome to take part in a way that feels right for you, whether that’s joining the full session, participating for a shorter time, moving at your own pace, or simply enjoying the social aspect.
All sessions will take place on Mondays during lunchtime (approximately 1.00–2.00 pm), and meet at the main entrance to the library.
Mindfulness & Movement Sessions

These sessions focus on gentle movement and mindfulness, beginning outside the Library's main entrance.
These sessions are not about speed, distance, or step counts. They are designed to support mental well-being, presence, and stress reduction in a relaxed and supportive way.
Participants can:
- Move at their own pace
- Take breaks as needed
- Join late or leave early if required
Sessions will last approximately 30–40 minutes, staying close to the council offices throughout.
Routes include:
- 11th May – Toward Bay Road Greenway
- 18th May – Toward St Columb’s Park
- 25th May – Toward Brooke Park
