About the Uttari Betta:
The Uttari Betta Sunrise Trek is a popular early-morning hiking experience located near Devarayanadurga, about 70 km from Bangalore. Known for its relatively easy-to-moderate trail, the trek takes you through ancient fort walls, lush greenery, and rocky pathways, making it ideal for beginners and casual trekkers. Starting before dawn, hikers climb to the summit just in time to witness a stunning sunrise over rolling hills and misty landscapes. The trail is around 5 km (round trip) and offers scenic views throughout, with a historic temple at the top adding a cultural touch to the adventure. • Around 03:30 AM Start the trek
• 05:00 AM Reach the peak and watch the sunrise
• Stay on the peak for sometime and indulge in photography
• 07:00 AM Descend down to the base
• 08:30 AM Reach back to the base
• 09:00 AM Have breakfast at the restaurant
• 11:30 AM Return back to Bangalore
