This course will fulfill and exceed the requirements to apply for an Utah Concealed Firearm Permit. This course is for mature law abiding citizens who are at least 18 years of age. Course topics include: Firearm safety, mindset, the legal use of force, Utah and federal firearm law, home defense, handgun nomenclature and operation, basic defensive pistol skills, proper concealment techniques, selecting a handgun for self-defense. Fingerprinting and passport photo are included as part of the course.
