About this Event
The Utah Chapter of the AFCC β the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts - will hold its Annual Conference on October 10 and 11, 2024, at the University Guesthouse Douglas Ballroom at the University of Utah. This two-day multi-disciplinary event will feature workshops from various experts, offering break-out sessions dealing with relevant and compelling topics of interest for mental health and family law professionals. We kick off the conference at noon on October 10, followed by another exciting and jam-packed day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, October 11.
Back by incredibly popular demand, we are excited to be joined this year as our Keynote Speaker, ., a nationally renowned expert on effective interventions in high-conflict divorce. Mindy is a Harvard-educated psychologist and a frequent and favorite speaker at AFCC events and statewide training conferences. She has trained countless professionals throughout the country about developmental issues in parenting schedules, dealing with high-conflict co-parenting issues, assessing allegations of sexual abuse during divorce disputes, and using expert witnesses in divorce cases.
