Usui Reiki provides a clear and practical way to connect with an infinite supply of intelligent, vital life force energy which can be directed for the benefit of healing and empowerment for self, and others. Anyone can receive Reiki treatments, and anyone can become attuned to channel Reiki, through a series of attunements, or initiations. Reiki is a powerful natural practice that unlocks and releases the flow of chi within the meridians of both the receiver and the giver. Once initiated, Reiki energy governs itself within the mind/body/spirit system. It could be said that Life Force Energy is to the energy body what food is to the physical body.
You will be able to give reiki treatments right away, both on yourself and others. The reiki attunement will increase your ability to store chi in the only place in the body where it is to be stored; the lower dan tien, or hara. This assists greatly with self-healing, as well as energy cultivation, and distribution for the self, and others.
