The evening’s program in the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company’s spaces within the historic Faneuil Hall, features the 32nd Chief of Naval Operations, and Massachusetts native, Admiral Mike M. Gilday, USN (Ret.) who will be joined by the 3rd family generation Massa Products Corporation, President/CEO & Chief Innovation Officer, Dawn Stancavish, for a discussion on the impact and role of the American Industrial Base.

This speaker event brings an overview of our national security from an economic viewpoint through the strength of Americans working in the innovation and the manufacturing sector.
The evening, hosted by the USS Massachusetts Commissioning Foundation, begins with a presentation on the Commissioning of the new U.S. Navy submarine, the USS Massachusetts. This will be our Navy’s eighth USS Massachusetts and the first Commissioning of a ship bearing the name of this State since 1942. Notably, the Commissioning is a major event in the 250th year of our Country and our Navy – here, with good claim, in our Navy’s birthplace – Massachusetts.

Doors will open at 5pm, allowing attendees to meet one another and enjoy the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company museum and meeting area – the AHAC is cornerstone of Massachusetts having been formed in 1638 and remaining continuously on watch in the service of the Governor of the Commonwealth.

Drinks and light refreshments will be available. The speaking portion of the program begins promptly at 6:00pm. The guest speakers will take questions from members of the audience. Networking to follow at 7pm. Notably, all funds raised from this event will contribute to the commissioning of the USS MASSACHUSETTS (SSN 798). Organizations who have supported the Foundation through their donations will be recognized during the event. New contributors are also invited to attend to make their donations and to be recognized.
