April 4th is gonna be rocking as USPOP brings their infectious hooks and lyrics to The Basement. Yes, we are turning up the volume a bit with the 4 piece band (don't worry we won't have it cranked to 11) from Minneapolis. My good friend Russel Munson is the drummer for USPOP, so I have heard them a number of times and they never disappoint to rock!In their own words USPOP says: "We are American. We play Britpop music. USPOP. USPOP is not a cover band. Not a tribute band either. We’re an American Britpop band. We write our own songs, and yes, we do know how to play Wonderwall and Parklife and Live Forever and Song #2, thanks for asking. Fake accents, real music – USPOP."
THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
FIRST: Doors open at 6:30pm and concert starts at 7:00pm.
SECOND: Ticket donations are only $25 and can be purchased through Venmo @Mitch-Bankes and of course all money will go to the band. NO REFUNDS (unless event is cancelled) Remember...responding YES that you are going is not the same as responding YES with your money. Pay it, don't say it, or better yet do both. Like most shows, I expect this one to sell out fast, so get your tickets before it's too late...you have been warned.
THIRD: A cash or Venmo donation bar will be available with my son Anthony performing his bar tending magic. There will be cocktails, mocktails and other delicious beverages along with a few tasty snacks.
FOURTH: The Basement is NOT handicapped accessible (sorry).
FIFTH: USPOP will have merchandise available for purchase.
