USC Day at the Getty

Please join the South Bay Trojans Club for a Day at the Getty filled with art and culture. This is a family-friendly event, so feel free to bring your kids and non-USC family members. Your ticket includes a reservation for the entire day at the Getty from 10 AM to 8 PM on June 29th; however, our event will end at 2 PM. Please scroll down to the Agenda to see the schedule of events for the day!

Parking

The Getty parking lot opens at 9:30 AM. Parking is not included in the ticket price and will be $25 per car. You will be required to go through a security check point before getting on the tram to go up to the Getty, so please arrive early. Architecture and Garden Tour

Please see our agenda for the day listed above. A private, docent-led Getty Architecture and Garden Tour has been arranged just for our USC group. Please arrive at the Museum Entrance Hall by 10:15 AM or else you will not be able to participate in the tour.

Lunch

Please select the ticket for whatever lunch you want to purchase. If you are a vegetarian, do not select the Deli Box Lunch. For any children under 10, please select the kid lunch ticket. The lunch box options are listed in the menu below and no dietary modifications can be made to the individual lunches. When you are purchasing your ticket, please make sure to answer all of the questions regarding the lunch boxes including choosing your drink and lunch box options. Sales will end on Tuesday, June 18th at 11:30 PM for any tickets that include a lunch as we have to place the catering order. No refunds will be accepted for any lunch tickets as we have to pay the caterer regardless if you use the ticket or not. Free tickets can continue to be purchased on Eventbrite up until Friday, June 28th at 10 AM.

On the day of the event at 12:30 PM, everyone will meet at the upper, center garden area next to the Garden Terrace Restaurant, where Board Members dressed in USC Gear will hand out the box lunch orders.

This event will happen rain or shine, but the Getty offers complementary umbrellas to use onsite, so you can leave yours at home. Feel free to bring a blanket to sit on the lawn for our garden picnic and possibly sun protection such as sunscreen or a hat as it might be hot.
