Greetings Dancers!Please join us for our St. Patrick’s Day Dance on March 14! We encourage you to wear your festive green attire — think shamrock shirts, socks, hats, and anything else that screams green! We’ll have a festive St. Patrick’s backdrop for photos, and of course, refreshments to keep us merry during the evening.
We want to extend a warm welcome to Libby Cortes, owner of Sassy Wellness with Libby Dance & Performance. This is her first time teaching for us, and we are so excited! Libby is an experienced Lexington instructor who teaches Latin dances and sponsors dance parties across the area. She will be teaching us the Bachata, a social dance that originated in the Dominican Republic and features an eight-count side-to-side movement and exaggerated hip checks. Loaded with lots of variation and style, Bachata is a fun dance, and we know Libby will have a fun lesson for us!
For a special treat, the Bachata Performance Team from Sassy Wellness will be performing a Bachata routine they recently performed at the recent Atlanta Salsa & Bachata Festival! You will not want to miss it!

Do I Need a Partner?
No partner required, singles are welcome! We switch dance partners throughout the night so everyone gets a chance to dance.
