Please join us.Bill Parker is volunteer Military Historian for the South Wood County Historical Museum in Wisconsin Rapids. He is also a Civil War and World War 1 Reenactor who has been collecting Militaria since 2001. Bill’s program on US Military Dog Tags will teach you how to read and research the U.S. Dog Tags from the Spanish American War through the Korean War timeframes. You will learn things from each tag that he presents such as units that they belonged to, a soldier’s particular religious information, any medals they might have earned as well as in some cases particular organizations they may have belonged to such as the Freemasons, Elks and other fraternal organizations.
