Join us in person for a dynamic exchange on the unprecedented international engagement of cities, whose growing influence is shaping global agendas and connecting communities worldwide. As an official side event of , the annual summit of G7 cities, this conversation will spotlight the expanding global role of U.S. cities, with participating mayors bringing their leadership and perspectives to the forefront.
Amid shifting national and international dynamics, U.S. mayors are emerging as influential actors on the world stage, working alongside their international peers to advance climate action, champion equity-focused policies, and strengthen transnational cooperation. Bringing together practitioners and experts, the event will offer a high-level, forward-looking conversation on how value- and impact-driven city diplomacy is reshaping the future of international relations.
Schedule: The event opens with a coffee reception at 9:00 AM. The program runs from 9:30 to 11:30 AM.
Proof of registration, via a QR code on your phone or on paper, will be required to enter Reid Hall. Entry will be refused to those who are not registered. Please note that access will not be permitted 15 minutes after the start of the program.
