THIS Urban Yoga Retreat Day is all about balancing you and giving you some well-deserved rest.
You can come to a FULL DAY or a HALF DAY Retreat.
This workshop includes:
* Guided Meditation: Opening the session with a meditation to ground and centre.
* Chakra Theory: An overview of the seven chakras, their meanings, and how they influence physical, emotional, and energetic well-being.
* Asana Practice: A yoga sequence designed to activate and balance each chakra, incorporating poses that correspond to their unique energies.
* Pranayama Techniques: Breathwork practices to enhance energy flow and clear blockages in the chakras.
* Mantra Chanting: Using sound vibrations to cleanse and align the chakras.
This immersive session is designed to leave participants feeling balanced, energized, and more connected to their inner selves.

2:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Restorative Yoga Workshop
This workshop includes:
* Introduction to Restorative Yoga: A brief discussion on the principles of restorative yoga, its benefits for stress reduction, healing, and deep relaxation.
* Guided Warm-Up: Gentle stretches and breath awareness to prepare the body for stillness.
* Restorative Yoga Practice:
A sequence of 5-6 fully supported poses using props such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks.
Each pose held for 5-20 minutes to encourage deep relaxation and release tension.
* Focus on relaxing specific areas of the body and calming the nervous system.
* Pranayama (Breathwork): Techniques like diaphragmatic breathing or nadi shodhana to enhance relaxation and balance energy.
* Mindfulness and Body Scanning: Practices to help participants cultivate awareness and presence in the poses.
* Yoga Nidra: A guided deep relaxation or yogic sleep session to close the practice and leave participants feeling refreshed.
* Tea and Reflection: A short break with herbal tea, providing time to journal or discuss personal experiences from the practice.
* Closing Circle: Setting intentions for integrating restorative yoga into daily life and sharing takeaways from the workshop.
This session aims to provide a sanctuary of rest and renewal, promoting profound physical, mental, and emotional relaxation.
Who Can Join: Open to all levels, no prior yoga experience required.
What to Bring: Comfortable clothing, yoga mat, and an open heart. Props will be provided, but feel free to bring your favourites!
