About this Event
Outside of learning to read and write, learning to grow your own food is the most powerful and liberating thing you can learn.
Living in a big city surrounded by so many businesses it's easy to forget that almost all of the food that we consume is shipped in. What happens when there's problems with the supply chain? Or if your neighborhood grocery store closes? Add that to the fact that the longer produce is in transport, the more nutrients it loses.
Grow Your Medicine is a hands on workshop exploring herbalism, medicinal plants, and ways to support our health through plants.
Participants will learn about herbs for everyday wellness, medicinal plants that can be grown at home, and simple ways to prepare plant medicine.
