For our next sketching meetup we're going to base ourselves at the porter brook / matilda street pocket park. There are lots of quirky looking buildings around the park for us to sketch.If the the weather is likely to be rainy, I'm thinking of using as an alternative, the birdhouse tea cafe just around the corner on Sidney street.
As always there'll be no judgement or criticism of the sketches you make.
If it's your first time sketching with us, just come along & give it a go, it's a very friendly & encouraging group. You'll meet likeminded people & probably pick up or swap ideas & knowledge
We usually have a first session of 90 minutes, then a break somewhere & a 1st throwdown, sharing our work (* if you feel comfortable doing so) then for those sticking around, we'll have another session of around 90 minutes & another throwdown to finish.
we often go to a local pub or cafe afterwards for a drink if you'd like to join us.
