Have you ever wanted to sit outside and sketch a street scene?Lincoln has amazing scenery for sketching buildings, people and street life.
Today we will:
• Learn about sketching materials
• Look at different styles in Urban Sketching
• Consider how to get started with a sketch
• Practice combining with watercolours
• Spend a couple of hours sketching outside (weather permitting)
• Enjoy Lincoln’s beautiful Cathedral Quarter
You will get a quality A4 sketchbook and a fine liner as part of the course.
Open to everyone, all materials provided.
Karin Christensen:
Karin Christensen is a Lincolnshire based artist working mainly in watercolours. She teaches workshops in the UK and Norway. She likes to travel and work on location, often using a combination of ink and watercolours. Karin is a member of the Lincolnshire Artists Society and has been teaching workshops for many years.
