Inspired by Henry Koerner's love of drawing from real life. Join us for a sketching workshop hosted by members of the Urban Sketchers PGH group. He was often found drawing and painting around Pittsburgh, toting his easel and paints across the city on his bicycle. We will meet in the Bost Building 3rd floor gallery to see Paintable Pittsburgh: The Art of Henry Koerner then head out into the neighborhood together to do some sketching. Afterwards we will return to the gallery to share what we drew with the group.
Participants are welcome to bring their own sketchbook; however, materials will be provided for those if needed. This event is free and open to the public.
