Join Us for the Urban Log Preparation & Tree Value Workshop!
Every tree removal is a material decision—not just a disposal job. This Earth Day, move beyond disposal and into utilization—capturing more value from tree removals while keeping material in productive use.
Across New England, mills and manufacturers are looking for quality logs, yet most urban wood never reaches these markets, ending up chipped, mulched, or landfilled. Small changes in how trees are evaluated, cut, and handled can significantly increase what that wood is worth—and whether it gets accepted at all.
This workshop focuses on practical, field-ready skills to help arborists and crews recognize value in real time, prepare logs correctly, and better connect to local wood markets.
